Dear Friend,

In 1999, I saw a dystopian, science fiction film that truly spoke to my heart as a disgruntled, lonely, young magician. Presumably, you have either seen or heard of it — it's called The Matrix.

This film features a moment of epiphany that has become iconic in contemporary subculture. The protagonist and hero, Neo, discovers that he was born into slavery and has lived in a virtual reality his entire life — known as his "awakening."

Morpheus: You're here because you know something. What you know you can't explain. But you feel it. You've felt it your entire life. That there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is but it's there, like a splinter in your mind driving you mad. It is this feeling that has brought you to me. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Neo: The Matrix?

Morpheus: Do you want to know what IT is? The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us, even now in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work, when you go to church, when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.

Neo: What truth?

Morpheus: That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage, born into a prison that you cannot smell or taste or touch. A prison for your mind.... Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself. This is your last chance. After this there is no turning back. You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes...

Believe it or not, my favorite part of this dialog is not the overly politicized "red vs. blue pill" dilemma, but rather the phrase...

"Like A Splinter In Your Mind Driving You Mad..." — The Gadfly That Agitates Me To Elevate Humanity To Godhood Out Of Chaos

This metaphor of a "splinter in my mind" or a "pebble in my shoe" summarizes my true feelings about pathworking the Nine Demonic Gatekeepers exactly right.

From seeing ghosts in my bedroom as a scared foster child, to speaking in angelic tongues in church as an indoctrinated Mormon teenager, to evoking demons in my temple as a free adult sorcerer — this "splinter in my mind" has always driven me on an absolutely fucking insane quest for not only my eternal ascent, but the eternal ascent of humankind.

High Gnosis: a revelation through direct experience with The Spirits that helps the ascent of both yourself and humanity

I call my direct revelation experiences with the Nine Demonic Gatekeepers "high gnosis" — high refers to ascent, and gnosis refers to knowledge received through direct experience of a spirit, also called revelation. In my opinion, direct encounters with a Demonic Gatekeeper like Lucifuge is not a basic gnosis; it is the HIGHEST gnosis. A magician cannot do much better.

I finally figured out WHY I feel this maddening "splinter in my mind" and have distilled it down into a simple but powerful question. Here, let me ask you:

Have You Ever Felt Like Your Gnosis With The Demonic Gatekeepers Often Leaves You With More Questions Than Answers?

Have you ever felt like The Spirits often cause MORE confusion than understanding... like the higher you rise, the more mysteries you encounter, like every one of their answers contains a hidden riddle that you need to decipher, as if every single question that you answer automatically opens a deeper question...

A reason exists. What if I told you...

These ancient demonized gods — so-called "demons" — embody power itself. No logical "answer" to them exists. They are the incarnation of the highest mystery. This may sound weird, but the more confused you feel, the closer you are to ultimate understanding.

The question is not why do we magicians perform summon these demonized gods, but rather, why do these gods summon us? Like Morpheus in the Matrix, I currently awaken you to this truth, but you need to experience the Outer Darkness for yourself...
