My First Ever Evocation Of "He Who Devours" And How I Resurrected The God Of Night From Ancient Times...

My first evocation of Noctulius was unlike any other ritual I had attempted. Where demonic spirits eagerly step into the magician’s circle, His presence came as a vast, foreboding weight — majestic, terrifying, and utterly alien. Years later, when I dared to call upon Him again, I realized He had been there all along, observing, waiting for me to be ready.

It was through my dear friend E.A. Koetting that I first heard about Noctulius. At that time, I had already been deeply engaged for years in extensive research on Vampirism in European occultism and ancient deities of Mesopotamia. His Latin-sounding name initially led me to think of a deity of Roman origin. However, upon reviewing the ancient classics of Roman mythology, I found no mention of this secret entity — not a single trace or reference in the most common works of the Roman Pantheon and their esoteric beliefs.

For years, I investigated, researched, and worked with an occult partner to understand Noctulius better. Quickly, these ritual operations passed from a succession of coincidences to an absolute certainty for us. This was far from the fleeting egregores and multifaceted demons most Western magicians encounter. There was a unique, distinct presence manifesting under the same features, even to those who had never heard His name — exactly the thing we had been looking for for so many years. The demonstration that an ultimate category of Vampirism did exist: not simply a spirit, but something that had transcended into a God.

This advanced, bleeding-edge grimoire truly is the first of its kind in occult history. Until now, traces of Noctulius were limited to small lines of information scattered across multiple tomes. This complete book is entirely dedicated to the God of the Night, recounting the precise origins of His nocturnal cult in antiquity, gathering the occult philosophy associated with His teachings, as well as the many magical techniques learned under His guidance. Book 1. The God Of The Night

The book opens with an exploration of the ancient sources of Noctulius. Through rare French manuscripts, Italian esoteric studies from Brixia, and fragments of English gnosis, the figure of Noctulius emerges as far older than most imagine. He is not a modern invention, nor a convenient mask for other deities, but a current that haunted mystics and adepts for centuries. His presence can be traced in forgotten cults, ancient Roman stones, and local myths of sorcerers wielding the powers of Vampirism.

In Working with Noctulius, I describe how one may begin this contact for oneself. Dreams, symbols, and subtle shifts in consciousness signal His approach. The part provides the first meditations and invocations that allow the magician to call upon His presence. These practices do not summon a distant God but open the Adept to a direct, personal encounter with the God who laughs in the Wilderness.

Noctulius does not invite worshippers — He forges warriors. The Path of Strife teaches that only through ordeal is the Adept sharpened into a weapon. Hunger, isolation, and inner conflict are not punishments but tools by which the initiate burns away weakness.

This trial becomes an identity. The Adept ceases to live as a seeker of light and embraces instead the militant path of shadow. To be a Soldier of Darkness is to accept combat against one’s own fears, to face hostile forces of the astral planes, and to reject the fragile consolations of ordinary humanity. Through this path, He reinforces Himself, forging His consciousness into a shard of Darkness, something that not even Death could destroy, giving birth to a new Daimon.

Book 2. Advanced Vampirism

Among entities of Vampiric nature, Noctulius reigns supreme. He is by nature more evolved and more individualistic than any of those who have acquired a form of immortality through the creation of a Body of Black Light. The second part, Advanced Vampirism, will go much further into the discipline than any grimoire previously dedicated to it.

Based on Chinese tradition, this chapter will explore the energetic structure of the human body. The Vampiric Adept will learn how to target it with the precision of a sniper.

• A Universe of Energetic Current describes the constant interaction of all living beings with the currents of energy present in the world around us. Through the simple acts of breathing, feeding, or being subjected to the cycle of days, nights, and seasons, humans are in constant interaction with these currents of energy—yet few know how to play by the rules that would allow them to attain long life and a strong body.
• The Energetic Structure of Humans reveals how every body of flesh radiates subtle energy fields, reservoirs of life-force that can be pierced and siphoned. The human becomes not only prey but also a gateway into deeper reserves of universal current.
• The Method of Vampirism teaches the discipline by which the Adept awakens their predatory senses, learns to identify the richest flows, and devours them without hesitation.

From there, the Adept guide plunges into the Essences of the Elements:

• The Essence of Fire is passion and joy.
• The Essence of Metal offers peace and calm.
• The Essence of Water is associated with resistance to stress.
• The Essence of Wood awakens activity, willpower, and decision-making.
• The Essence of Earth is balance, stability, and strength.

The final chapter deals with the most extreme form of Vampirism: the method used only by Demons and Ascended Masters — feeding through possession. By this act, the Adept is able to feed not only by creating contact with a target but by invading her body and siphoning her from the inside.

Never has the topic of energetic feeding been described with more precision. The Adept who masters this art is not simply able to feed from others; he wields Life Drain as a form of Magick, allowing him to influence others and mold their mental states according to his Will.

Book 3. Draumruna - Old Norse Dream Magic

The third part of this guide to Vampiric mastery, Draumruna, addresses a subject more complex than the previous one, which could be described as the very heart of the doctrine taught by Noctulius. Some before me have given it the name Draumruna, which can be translated from Old Norse as “Mystery of the Dream.” This is the purest form of magick — one that considers reality as entirely malleable, subject to the Adept’s will, reshaped according to their own criteria.

This truly ancient form of magick requires neither ritual equipment, nor an altar, nor a consecrated place. The results it yields are generally more controlled, and the Adepts I know who have mastered it tend to lead far more stable and disciplined lives.

Draumruna is not a poetic ornament or a symbolic metaphor. It is a complete magical system, transmitted by Noctulius, that uses the mind as a temple. In this current, thoughts become spells, and life becomes a never-ending ritual in which the Adept constantly reshapes reality to fit his plans.

The first step in Draumruna is clairvoyant lucidity. The Adept must learn to remain awake within his dreams, to recognize when he crosses the threshold of sleep, and to sustain consciousness beyond the dissolution of the physical senses. At first, this is achieved through exercises of focus and retention, practices that prevent the dissipation of energy during daily life. Gradually, the Vampire trains his awareness until he can stand firmly in the dream-world — no longer a passive spectator, but a sovereign presence.

Once this lucidity is attained, the Adept begins the true work: the shaping of dream into reality.

In the dream, thought is creation. Every symbol is alive, every word becomes flesh. By learning to condense intention, the magician creates entire worlds — self-contained realities that mirror his will. These dream-worlds are not idle fantasies. They act as laboratories of sorcery, where realities can be modeled, new forms assumed, and new futures created. The Adept begins to notice that his visions manifest, that obstacles dissolve, that his life bends toward the shape he has forged in the hidden workshop of his temple.

Book 4. The Traveler In The Dark

Here begins the most perilous part of the journey: leaving behind flesh, dream, and even creation itself. The Traveler in the Dark is my advanced field guide to  soul traveling the Noctulian Current and Planes of Darkness — from the Throne in the Forest to the Obscure City and Titans of the Abyss.

The Pendant of Noctulius is the first step, the creation of a powerful artifact that will skyrocket your abilities to travel outside your physical body.

I will instruct you in 3 simple exercises that will allow you to project yourself out of your body through a method I have now taught to dozens of aspiring Black Magicians. Most of them had struggled to perceive images or lacked sensations during their experiences, and within a few weeks of practice were able to create powerful astral travel experiences.

In the next chapter, Astral Travel, I will teach you how to navigate the various Astral Planes, and to anchor yourself to sensations in order to increase immersion in these different kingdoms, gaining experiences and powers as you embark deeper into your ascent.

In Vampirism out of the Physical, I will develop the keys to mastering the act of vampirism once freed from the restraints of the flesh. This is the ultimate form of predation, practiced only by the Undead Masters.

The path then leads to The Throne Inside the Forest, a locus where Noctulius manifests as Sovereign. In this kingdom, you will meet the Lord of the Night in His very own domain, receiving initiation and seeing a glimpse of Eternity.

From there, the Adept is thrust into the different Dark Realms — landscapes of nightmare and wonder, each testing the strength of the traveler and preparing him for his confrontation. Between this chthonic realm and the Void lies the Obscure City, a portal, not a realm. Its streets and towers are made of changing and fading shapes. This is the ultimate step, the threshold from which the majesty of the Outside can be observed, and a place of entry for those who dwell within it.

At the limit of these journeys lies the Void. Unlike all other realms, this Abyss exists outside creation. It is annihilation made manifest, a devouring silence, but one inhabited. Within it stir vast intelligences that embody entropy itself. To confront them is to risk dissolution, but also to claim a shard of their eternal power. For those who emerge victorious, existence will be forever changed. Their souls will be transmuted and transformed into Black Holes. They will give birth to a new Abyssal entity: the ultimate form of a vampire.

The grimoire culminates with the figure of the Adept who has crossed all thresholds — who no longer borrows from Noctulius but has fused with Him. He is predator incarnate, Soldier of Darkness, eternal wanderer of the Abyss. His destiny is no longer bound to humanity and Creation but to the eternal hunger outside the cosmos.
