The First Complete Guide To Noctulius And His Rites Of Self-Initiation Into The Cult Of The Night God... You're About To Learn The Sinister Science And Occult History Of The Ancient Vampiric Arts...

In Noctulius: He Who Devours, you'll learn...

With each preceding guide to mastering the Vampiric Arts that I have authored, I have opened one more forbidden door.
But in this new work, Noctulius: He Who Devours, I take you farther than ever — beyond the limits of creation itself, into the Abyssal mysteries of the God of the Night.
Noctulius is the incarnation of Vampirism in its purest essence. Among all the Spirits of the Undead I have ever worked with, He is the one who embodies what every Adept of the Path is truly striving to become.
My first evocation of Noctulius was unlike any other ritual I had attempted. Where demonic spirits eagerly step into the magician’s circle, His presence came as a vast, foreboding weight — majestic, terrifying, and utterly alien. Years later, when I dared to call upon Him again, I realized He had been there all along, observing, waiting for me to be ready.
It was through my dear friend E.A. Koetting that I first heard about Noctulius. At that time, I had already been deeply engaged for years in extensive research on Vampirism in European occultism and ancient deities of Mesopotamia. His Latin-sounding name initially led me to think of a deity of Roman origin. However, upon reviewing the ancient classics of Roman mythology, I found no mention of this secret entity — not a single trace or reference in the most common works of the Roman Pantheon and their esoteric beliefs.
For years, I investigated, researched, and worked with an occult partner to understand Noctulius better. Quickly, these ritual operations passed from a succession of coincidences to an absolute certainty for us. This was far from the fleeting egregores and multifaceted demons most Western magicians encounter. There was a unique, distinct presence manifesting under the same features, even to those who had never heard His name — exactly the thing we had been looking for for so many years. The demonstration that an ultimate category of Vampirism did exist: not simply a spirit, but something that had transcended into a God.
This advanced, bleeding-edge grimoire truly is the first of its kind in occult history. Until now, traces of Noctulius were limited to small lines of information scattered across multiple tomes. This complete book is entirely dedicated to the God of the Night, recounting the precise origins of His nocturnal cult in antiquity, gathering the occult philosophy associated with His teachings, as well as the many magical techniques learned under His guidance. It is not a simple manual. It is a progressive initiation, each chapter designed to strip away the illusions of mortality and plunge the Adept deeper into the mysteries of night.
This work lays the first stone of a larger series linked to the Noctulian current, intended to lead serious adepts toward a higher form of Vampirism.
The book opens with an exploration of the ancient sources of Noctulius. Through rare French manuscripts, Italian esoteric studies from Brixia, and fragments of English gnosis, the figure of Noctulius emerges as far older than most imagine. He is not a modern invention, nor a convenient mask for other deities, but a current that haunted mystics and adepts for centuries. His presence can be traced in forgotten cults, ancient Roman stones, and local myths of sorcerers wielding the powers of Vampirism.
In Working with Noctulius, I describe how one may begin this contact for oneself. Dreams, symbols, and subtle shifts in consciousness signal His approach. The part provides the first meditations and invocations that allow the magician to call upon His presence. These practices do not summon a distant God but open the Adept to a direct, personal encounter with the God who laughs in the Wilderness.

Noctulius does not invite worshippers — He forges warriors. The Path of Strife teaches that only through ordeal is the Adept sharpened into a weapon. Hunger, isolation, and inner conflict are not punishments but tools by which the initiate burns away weakness.
This trial becomes an identity. The Adept ceases to live as a seeker of light and embraces instead the militant path of shadow. To be a Soldier of Darkness is to accept combat against one’s own fears, to face hostile forces of the astral planes, and to reject the fragile consolations of ordinary humanity. Through this path, He reinforces Himself, forging His consciousness into a shard of Darkness, something that not even Death could destroy, giving birth to a new Daimon.
Among entities of Vampiric nature, Noctulius reigns supreme. He is by nature more evolved and more individualistic than any of those who have acquired a form of immortality through the creation of a Body of Black Light. The second part, Advanced Vampirism, will go much further into the discipline than any grimoire previously dedicated to it.

Based on Chinese tradition, this chapter will explore the energetic structure of the human body. The Vampiric Adept will learn how to target it with the precision of a sniper.
From there, the Adept guide plunges into the Essences of the Elements:
The final chapter deals with the most extreme form of Vampirism: the method used only by Demons and Ascended Masters — feeding through possession. By this act, the Adept is able to feed not only by creating contact with a target but by invading her body and siphoning her from the inside.
Never has the topic of energetic feeding been described with more precision. The Adept who masters this art is not simply able to feed from others; he wields Life Drain as a form of Magick, allowing him to influence others and mold their mental states according to his Will.
The third part of this guide to Vampiric mastery, Draumruna, addresses a subject more complex than the previous one, which could be described as the very heart of the doctrine taught by Noctulius. Some before me have given it the name Draumruna, which can be translated from Old Norse as “Mystery of the Dream.” This is the purest form of magick — one that considers reality as entirely malleable, subject to the Adept’s will, reshaped according to their own criteria.

This truly ancient form of magick requires neither ritual equipment, nor an altar, nor a consecrated place. The results it yields are generally more controlled, and the Adepts I know who have mastered it tend to lead far more stable and disciplined lives.
Draumruna is not a poetic ornament or a symbolic metaphor. It is a complete magical system, transmitted by Noctulius, that uses the mind as a temple. In this current, thoughts become spells, and life becomes a never-ending ritual in which the Adept constantly reshapes reality to fit his plans.
The first step in Draumruna is clairvoyant lucidity. The Adept must learn to remain awake within his dreams, to recognize when he crosses the threshold of sleep, and to sustain consciousness beyond the dissolution of the physical senses. At first, this is achieved through exercises of focus and retention, practices that prevent the dissipation of energy during daily life. Gradually, the Vampire trains his awareness until he can stand firmly in the dream-world — no longer a passive spectator, but a sovereign presence.
Once this lucidity is attained, the Adept begins the true work: the shaping of dream into reality.
In the dream, thought is creation. Every symbol is alive, every word becomes flesh. By learning to condense intention, the magician creates entire worlds — self-contained realities that mirror his will. These dream-worlds are not idle fantasies. They act as laboratories of sorcery, where realities can be modeled, new forms assumed, and new futures created. The Adept begins to notice that his visions manifest, that obstacles dissolve, that his life bends toward the shape he has forged in the hidden workshop of his temple.

Here begins the most perilous part of the journey: leaving behind flesh, dream, and even creation itself. The Traveler in the Dark is my advanced field guide to soul traveling the Noctulian Current and Planes of Darkness — from the Throne in the Forest to the Obscure City and Titans of the Abyss.
The Pendant of Noctulius is the first step, the creation of a powerful artifact that will skyrocket your abilities to travel outside your physical body.
I will instruct you in 3 simple exercises that will allow you to project yourself out of your body through a method I have now taught to dozens of aspiring Black Magicians. Most of them had struggled to perceive images or lacked sensations during their experiences, and within a few weeks of practice were able to create powerful astral travel experiences.
In the next chapter, Astral Travel, I will teach you how to navigate the various Astral Planes, and to anchor yourself to sensations in order to increase immersion in these different kingdoms, gaining experiences and powers as you embark deeper into your ascent.
In Vampirism out of the Physical, I will develop the keys to mastering the act of vampirism once freed from the restraints of the flesh. This is the ultimate form of predation, practiced only by the Undead Masters.
The path then leads to The Throne Inside the Forest, a locus where Noctulius manifests as Sovereign. In this kingdom, you will meet the Lord of the Night in His very own domain, receiving initiation and seeing a glimpse of Eternity.
From there, the Adept is thrust into the different Dark Realms — landscapes of nightmare and wonder, each testing the strength of the traveler and preparing him for his confrontation. Between this chthonic realm and the Void lies the Obscure City, a portal, not a realm. Its streets and towers are made of changing and fading shapes. This is the ultimate step, the threshold from which the majesty of the Outside can be observed, and a place of entry for those who dwell within it.
At the limit of these journeys lies the Void. Unlike all other realms, this Abyss exists outside creation. It is annihilation made manifest, a devouring silence, but one inhabited. Within it stir vast intelligences that embody entropy itself. To confront them is to risk dissolution, but also to claim a shard of their eternal power. For those who emerge victorious, existence will be forever changed. Their souls will be transmuted and transformed into Black Holes. They will give birth to a new Abyssal entity: the ultimate form of a vampire.
The grimoire culminates with the figure of the Adept who has crossed all thresholds — who no longer borrows from Noctulius but has fused with Him. He is predator incarnate, Soldier of Darkness, eternal wanderer of the Abyss. His destiny is no longer bound to humanity and Creation but to the eternal hunger outside the cosmos.
Sit in a front row seat to the first ever live guided initiations, evocations, and soul travels with The Lord of Night, Noctulius, in this 5-hour online streaming video course.
It was through my dearest friend E.A. Koetting that I first heard the name “Noctulius” whispered, so it was only natural that I should converse with him. In this introduction to the course, E.A. and I will discuss our respective experiences with the God of the Night.
In this lengthy uncensored question-and-answer, black magician E.A. Koetting and I delve into the most sensitive topics rarely discussed in grimoires, and never on camera. Drawing from his own experience with Initiatic Vampirism and comparing it to traditional methods from European occultism, we address the delicate issues surrounding sinister Vampirism practices. We also explore our unique respective magick experiences with Noctulius, the God of Night, and how we were each called to the Great Work inside his Undead Current.
Noctulius is not merely a spirit, but the pure embodiment of vampirism itself—the distilled essence of what every true initiate of the Path longs to attain. Among all entities I have ever summoned, He stands apart, as an immortal being, guiding His disciples through the trials that will transform them into creatures of Eternity.
For the first time, before the camera, I will evoke Noctulius within the Temple dedicated to Him. A ritual dedicated to the God of the Night has never before been recorded for the public. For the first time, I am going to take you into a consecrated Temple, deep inside the Southern European forest where the Celtic and Roman populations once lived, to celebrate a forbidden sacrifice to the God of the Night.
This rite integrates sacred chants to the God of the Night, manifestation through blood, communication, sacrifice, and transmutation. During this video, I instruct you step by step, so that you may both live the rite with me and be able to perform it yourself.
In this guided ritual, Noctulius is invoked to teach the art of Draumruna, the Magic of Dreams. This ancient current of magic treats reality as fluid, shaped by the will of the Adept rather than fixed by external law. It requires no tools, altar, or sacred space, only awareness sharpened into control.
In the first task, the Adept learns lucidity to remain awake within the dream, to know when sleep begins and hold consciousness as the senses fade. Through daily focus and energy retention, the mind becomes disciplined, able to stand within the dream as a sovereign presence rather than a drifting witness.
Once lucidity is mastered, thought becomes creation. In the dream, every symbol breathes, every word materializes. The magician learns to condense intention until whole realities form and echo into waking life. Through this work, Noctulius breaks the barriers of illusion within the subconscious, opening the path for new worlds—and new selves—to emerge.
The final section of the mastery video course deals with the practice of out-of-body travel in detail. Together, we enter the wilderness. I take you into a real dark forest of the Alps mountains in Central Europe. Guided by my voice, I will lead you through performing a ritual of evocation, directed toward one of Noctulius’s emissaries, an entity known to the Adepts of this current as the Dark One.
The nature of this entity, known by practitioners of the twentieth century, is shrouded in mystery. He appears to be deeply connected to the current of Noctulius. In recent decades, several initiates from different lodges have reported contact with this Superior Unknown being, who sometimes manifests as a strigoi with skin black as night and a third red eye upon his forehead, or as a man clad in black armor.
Despite his obscure origin, he seems able to travel between worlds, evolving and strengthening his powers in an eternal existence of predation and transformation. The visions granted during communion with this entity often reveal brutal battle scenes, where the calm and cold nature of the Dark One is unmistakable.
He follows a Vampiric and Alchemical Path akin to the ancient Draumruna, rooted in the Astral and Higher Planes. Through realizing his Presence, the Adept attains both awakening and mastery over his body and environment, an art in which this immortal being excels. Through this course, I will guide you into astral travel within the very domain of the Dark One, where communion with him becomes possible.
To celebrate the release of Noctulius: He Who Devours, you can join me in a once-in-an-incarnation initiation ritual, which I have shared with only eight of my most devoted friends and students. This initiation ritual is of rare intensity, placing the Adept directly in the presence of the God of the Night. Those eight who have already undertaken it stand among the Initiates I consider the most advanced in my occult circle, each having developed Vampiric magick powers under the patronage of Noctulius,
For every Adept of the Vampiric Arts, He is the quintessence of what one aspires to become—an entity moving between worlds, leaving His mark upon ours through the ages, the ultimate predator.
The ritual I propose to you, however, will not be performed alone. The master sorcerer, E.A. Koetting, who was the first to set me upon the path of the Dark God, will join me in this collective evocation, working alongside me to draw His presence to you and entreat Him to admit you into the circle of His students. As with any great ritual of the Vampiric Chain, this one will take place on November 30th — a date most dear to the Adepts of the Blood Cults and known as the Night of Vampirism in Romanian occultism. On this night, the predatory spirits return from the grave, called the Strigoi, walk once more among the living, and the lycanthropic wolves are free to devour whomever they desire.
By becoming the Disciple of Noctulius, you will receive:
Noctulius imparts the techniques that allow you the survival of consciousness beyond death, through the Body of Black Light. It is not only about anchoring oneself to this plane, but about becoming independent from it — achieving a perfect form of timelessness that allows the immortal consciousness to travel between planes of existence, and, if needed, to re-manifest in dense form within the physical world. Among all vampire masters, he is, in my eyes, the one whose presence is most independent from any magical phenomenon. Under his guidance, the Adept of the Vampiric Arts will become familiar with advanced forms of spiritual predation, gradually becoming, in the image of his Master, a predator beyond compare.
Those who follow the current of Noctulius are gradually reforged in his image. The path before them is marked by initiations and trials. Little by little, you are transformed: your state of mind ceases to react to emotion and immediacy, becoming that of a tactician. The one who advances upon this path is like a blade that never ceases to be perfected in the hands of an expert. Gradually, what once constituted their humanity fades, giving rise to a new being. You become a Noctulian, a Soldier of Darkness, sealing your destiny forever and crystallizing your power and skills within a single new entity — one that will survive Death itself and create its own kingdom.
Under the tutelage of Noctulius, the Adept will be trained in the art of Draumruna — the ability to awaken within the collective illusion we call “reality” and bend it to their will. For one who masters this advanced practice, every thought becomes a sorcerous act. Tools become superfluous; their mind becomes the temple in which they exercise their creative power at every moment. The magician initiates, during their lifetime, into the very art mastered by the Ascended Masters.
If you desire to cross the final thresholds, Noctulius will guide you to the ultimate stage. The Abyss is a non-place, outside creation, where the laws of time and matter dissolve. It reflects no human thought, but remains a raw matrix, indifferent to existence.
To venture there is to undergo the disintegration of identity, each step erasing another illusion of the ego. The Titans dwell there — colossal forces older than any cosmology, impossible to reduce to gods. Their contact fractures the psyche, yet grants in return a naked gnosis — unbearable, superhuman. Under the tutelage of Noctulius, you who choose to venture into it will reach the point of no return. This choice is an act of free will and must be made by the initiate with full awareness. Your soul will be transformed, transmuted into an integral part of the Abyss, becoming, in the image of the God of Night, beings of darkness, venturers outside Creation itself.
E.A. Koetting and I have been arranging our Temples of Night for this initiation ritual with Noctulius for months. Together, we will synchronize our ritual pacts, performing them in unison for the cursed night of Saint Andrews, November 30th.
On your side, we recommend keeping your meditation on the ritual night as simple as possible. Light a black candle, gaze into the flame, steady your breath, recite the incantation below, and absorb all of the power and energy of this ritual.

My vampiric name, N.D. Blackwood, acts as a magick talisman. “N.D.” invokes my vampiric patrons, Noctulius and Dracúl, and “Blackwood” refers to the neighboring forest wherein I perform rituals of black magick.
